    Any word on Mr. Rucker as to his availability on Sunday? All other avenues seem not to be interested, or keeping mum.

    Carolina Panthers linebacker Dan Morgan (ankle) and defensive end Julius Peppers (ankle) practiced Friday and were upgraded from questionable to probable for the Panthers' 1 p.m. game Sunday against Tampa Bay.

    Expect Morgan, who has not played in the past two games, and Peppers, who was hurt last week against Atlanta, to play Sunday.

    Defensive end Mike Rucker (ankle) remained questionable, but did some practice work Friday.
