Does anyone have the scoop on Mitchell or Gamble?

This isn't the Defense I'd choose a new center to cut his teeth on. Anyway I'm sure Fox will be very forthcoming on the status of these guys.

Gamble has a pulled groin. hurts like hell the next day, so I'm betting its a bitch today. He'll be day-to-day.

Mitchell fucked his knee pretty bad considering he couldn't put weight on it. Nothing has been said yet as to the extent, but I'm not looking for him to play Sunday at this point.

    hrmmm... not horrible.

It'll just depend on the severity of the sprain if he'll be back by Saturday Night.

Speaking from experience, if you tear a knee ligament you can still walk on it and put weight on it. In fact you are OK running straight ahead. The problem is when you have any lateral movement or twisting movement on the knee it feels like it is going to give way. It is unstable. I guess my point is that the fact that he was helped off the field does not automatically mean he has structural damage.

Don't count on seeing Mitchell again.

Gantt says it looks like everyone that got hurt in the game (including Mitchell) will be okay for Sat.'s game.

I hope Dr Gantts prognosis is correct. This is that time of year when players make those miraculous recoveries and have one of their best games ever.
