Despite LaFell’s lack of production, Smith defended his teammate after the game.

“When LaFell first got here, I didn’t think he was going to be a guy to step up,” Smith said. “And I think running my routes today next to him, there were some times he was open and the ball just didn’t come his way. But he never complained, he never pouted. He just ran his routes.”

Turnovers lost the game. DW gave up at least 3 points. The punt return fiasco was a pretty big momentum killer as well.

The drops by Olsen were critical. Dont give me the perfect ball bullshit this is a guy who should be expected to make plays.

Cam played within the offense and didnt take too many chances down the field vs one of the best secondaries in the league. He ran when he had to and threw it away when he needed to. His best throw of the day was dropped. When you play a control type offense that cant happen.

Collin, you still suck as an analyst. STFU until you learn how to evaluate talent. Btw, Russell made that circus play off his back foot. You dont get it and never will. Thats why youve progressed so well in your career. "Everybody" who agrees with you is down to like 5 people here and more than likely 3 of them are alts.

    Special teams penalties killed us.

I agree the coaching sucks but you motherfuckers need to get your head outta your asses.

The defense on a whole is a positive. We had one of the NFCs best teams on the ropes late and let them off the hook.

Oh yeah, and the defense played pretty damn good.

Props to Wilson, he had a hell of a game getting pressured all day.

I absolutely agree that Cam should have learned his craft better, especially the physical execution aspect since that's the stuff that should come easiest/more naturally to an athlete of his caliber but...

This team was 22% better on D, Lol.

You cannot just transpose the stats. well you can, but I don't accept it as anything more than a guy trying to win an argument with irrelevancies.

I want a safety who can take proper angles, what the fuck positioning was the S in on that Russell td throw it should have been a simple pass deflection with better discipline and angling from the safety over the top thomas was in ok position but still beat somewhat

Back ft throws can provide distance but accuracy is severely increased when following through with the step through on his left foot to drive the ball where it needs to be, similar to how golfers follow through for accurate shots
