    I've lost my taskbar.

This morning I deleted some files that were trashing up my computer, then changed my desktop wallpaper. Then I opened up the Control Panel & ran the Disk Cleanup & the Defragmenter.

Last time I looked, I still had a taskbar at the bottom of the screen--the thing with the Start button & the clock & all. Then awhile ago I came back, & after I closed the windows for the defrag & the control panel, I noticed there was no taskbar.

What the hell happened? How can I get it back?

Edit: How fucking annoying. Minimize a window, & where the fuck does it go? :banghead:

Try two things... first move the mouse pointer to the bottom to see if the taskbar has been switched to stay off the screen.

If that doesn't work use Ctrl+Alt+Del to shutdown and reboot to see if its a gag in windows.

Thanks, Brain  I'd already tried moving the mouse to the bottom. After that didn't work, frustration completely wiped out common sense

    Rebooting took care of it.

    I'm all better now
