3rd and 6. And like I said, they converted that call in the Super Bowl in the same situation. Jags were likely looking pass, and it not like Ben is Drew Bledsoe.

Larry, Yeah, Davenport isn't going to give you the bigger run. Not sure why they ran outside so much in the first half.

But I think the better team won regardless. Beat a team twice in their building, you are better.

how the hell do you blame coaching? cuz it had nothing to do with The Jags points of of Ben's interceptions.

Not that I gave a shit who won but Tomlin decided to go for two, okay fine I guess though I wouldn't have. But then took a ten yard penalty and still went for two from the twelve (the TWELVE), just stupid. Had he taken the XP, the next one is an XP as well and that last Jax kick is for a tie.

It always seems to bite you in the ass when you go for two when you don't absolutely need it.

Although the Jags likely play the last minutes differently. You might try for the touch on a play or two.

    True.

Going for it from the twelve though. How many times is that successful? The only time that makes any sense at all, in my mind, is game's on the line and two ties it.

Well, I don't necessarly disagree with the decision to god for 2 originally, but ehwn they were pushed back to the 12, they should have settled for the extra point. The percentahes just weren't in their favor. Chalk it up as a rookie mistake by Tomlin.

Anyway, hell of a game. Unfortunately for the Jacuars, they don't appear to match up against Indy or New England. But they don't play football on paper, I guess.

I think the Jags match up well against Indy and New England for the sole factor that they can control the ball. If there is a dark horse in the playoffs, it's going to be jacksonville.

Then again, I thought they'd beat the Steelers by more than they did and Washington would pull out a win against Seattle.

I watched that piece on NBC right before the Skins game, how they were all convinced their 21-point win over the Cowboys was 'no coincidence' and that Sean Taylor had a hand in it.

Wonder what they're thinking this morning?

Very true about Ben in the first half but they had passed all over them to get the lead, Ben 17-22 200+yds in the 2nd half and the running game was averaging 1 point something a carry? Running 3 straight plays was sheer genius.
