Im watching this game on tv. The Islanders score at the end of the first, and Gary THorne yells, "THere's the back breaker!!!" What the fuck Thorne, it's 1-0 in the 1st period. What an ass wipe

How can you say Thorne is an asswipe? He's the best since Tom Mees passed.

 

Thorne must jerk off constantly, you see how thick his glasses are? Anyway, I think he and Clemment do a fine job. They have the prefect mixture of enthusiasm and telling the game straight. Gets you interested, but doesnt annoy the hell out of you

No, really he's not that bad....gets a little over-enthusiastic at times.
Actually, he's calmed down some. Got a tape of him calling the '93 Islanders-Pens playoff series games 6 and 7 where the Isles roughed up Lemeuix in route to an upset, and he was out of his mind calling that one.

1-0 in the first is not a backbreaker.
3rd time the Isles have been on espn, looked like crap all 3 times.
