Panthers need a QB. Moore ain't it. Period. Obviously he'll do for now.

I wouldn't feel too good if we went with Moore next year, but we won't so no worry there. He's maybe okay as a #2.

He has a lot of Delhomme in him. I see what Jake was when he was younger, maybe a slightly better decision maker. But he will take some chances. You see the high throws. You see the tendency to hold the ball too long when nothing is open. And of course, he displays the same kind of emotion. He doesn't go into the tank like Jake does when shit hits the fan, but you still don't want your quarterback to be too much of a cheerleader.

I don't think he's a FA. Right? It's a good guy to keep around for the price we're paying, and I'm interested to see what he can do over the next three games. Obviously, if there's a new staff, they're not just going to hand him the job. He's probably the only guy worth holding over, though.

Jason Campbell had another good game putting up a rating of over 100 for the second straight week.....

I'm not so sure any QB would look good in this offense, no matter if it is Campbell, Moore, or even Manning. Until the playcalling (and possibly the playbook itself) changes, any QB will look average at best. I just can't shake the fact that our O.C. was once the O.C. for the Browns and was "replaced" (read: demoted). The Browns... The Browns... The Cleveland Browns replaced Jeff Davidson with Rob Chudzinski. "Who the hell is Rob Chudzinski?" you might ask. My point exactly. The Browns!!!!

i agree completely, our offense would look like crap with just about any NFL QB back there. drafting a QB with a 1st or 2nd round pick is basically a waste of time with the current offensive coaching staff. i believe at this point our best option is to keep Fox and hire Weiss to coach Moore and the rest of the offense.

He doesn't really look any better or worse than Delhomme. Which really isn't a knock on Moore. I think his performance more than anything says that Delhomme's days as a Panther are numbered. Too expensive to be a back up - not good enough to be the starter.

cant believe Im going to say this but I'd like to see Vick come here and run some type of wildcat style offense. We have everything but a qb to run it. Vick can be had pretty cheap and he is by far better than anything we have here. Vick, Deangelo, Stewart and Smith would be fun to watch on the field at the same time.
