nfldraftcountdown has their new mock up

    we get Rolle and Fason

think i'd be pretty happy with Rolle (certainly over J. Brown who I do not think is a top 20 value from the very little i saw of him). think i'd be a tad sick over taking Fason rather than Elton Brown or David Bass (i wonder if those two would really be there by our pick) especially considering that we probably could still land a solid back in the 3rd (Houston, Harris, TA, Arrington). course a lot still depends on Moose and Davis and FA.

mags, your thoughts on Rolle at FS (or would we use him at corner). do you like this pick and ya think it any possibility. think i saw Kiper had him now in the late teens on his board.

the amazing thing to me is how much some of these guys slide around on some of these boards/mocks. i can understand maybe between authors but i'm a bit amazed by the changes by the same authors. for instance, why would Heath Miller suddenly fall from us taking him at 14 (or Detroit at 10) and now he's at 30 ... though he's still 14 on his big board

meanwhile, corey webster has slid a ton on these boards. would you like him as a safety in rd 2/3 ... if we don't take a safety earlier?

So lets see we have Gross and Wharton, and we draft 2 more Tackles. Admittedly enough I know Wharton is probably gonna stay at Guard now, but 2 more Tackles? come on.

Me personally? I have Smith right behind Rodgers at 8 or so. I have questions on his arm and if he can run under center, etc.

But San Fran, just from a PR standpoint, needs to take a QB. Rodgers would be more local, which is why I had him going their first, I suppose, and has fewer question marks, but Smith is a little bigger and perhaps more athletic.

So I think they'll reach up and take one of the two. Not sure which one, but one.
