Mallett

OK...now let's add Ryan Mallett to the conversation at #1.

They're in shorts, of course, but I like the way Mallett throws: smooth, effortless, over-the-top motion with good touch. He may have issues between the ears, but he'll be a weapon in a vertical passing game.

Mallet, by the way, looks like Ivan Drago.

 

Cam throwing like shit and Gabbert not throwing, seems to have put Caepernick, Mallett, and Locker closer to range. I don't know that it makes the others worth #1, just puts into question to me why the other two are.

 

I wonder if the Cowboys are still enamored with Newton now?

I think Gabbert gained an edge by not throwing. He has no character issues, played in a complex system as Mizzou, and shit: his name is Blaine. Just sounds like he should be held up in a Pineville trailer park.
