Leman's motor wins favor with Panthers

Leman kind of reminds me of a Hoover or a Cooper type "heart" player. The Panther's seem to have a soft spot for undrafted balls-to-the-wall love-of-the-game type of players. Leman's speed won't make him a candidate for a gunner but he could be an impact player on special teams none-the-less.

During the last game my eyes just kept getting drawn to him for some reason. I'll go out on a (small) limp and predict he makes the final cut. Football is about winning but teams with borderline chances of making the playoffs need to have human interest stories to help keep fan interest strong.

Admit it, if you saw Leman come into a real game for a snap or two you'd be both hoping he makes a play and that he doesn't screw up a play. In a way...that's entertainment.

He may make the team becuase he is playing good. I don't think it has anythng to do with storylines or Hoover .

Because he's playing well... I admit I'm a sucker for a good storyline. I think our team's history is such that it proves JR is too. :22:

He's playing great...against 3rd stringers. He's still a longshot to make the team, especially now that Anderson appears to be getting his shit together.
