Looks good. But, at this point in time, I think I'd still rather have Fletcher Cox or Quinton Coples (the faves on this board if I remember correctly). We get no push from the front four. Whatsoever.

wasn't a good week for rush. I do think that the Miami game elevated expectations a bit, but they can do better.

I thought Edwards and Kearse were a solid duo against the run.

I do know what you mean. It would've been nice to have a flashier position.

Yeah, other than the one busted play, solid job against the run. Keuchly was a significant part of that. Seemed to be in on nearly every tackle. He is not a wasted pick. He looks to be a very good player. However, I don't see him turning into Ray Lewis (not that anyone is or will be) and short of that, he doesn't seem to help much in the pass game. Make no mistake, the Jets couldn't get out of their own way tonight and that's why we won, nothing more. They look to be a 6-10 or 7-9 team to me based on the quality of their defense only.

If Drew Brees or Matt Ryan had been at Qb tonight, we would have been carved up, regardless of how well the secondary played. This concerns me.

hell, he looks more instinctive than anyone we've had since Sam. And, he should help out just fine in pass D, honestly. I do think that we could've used help in other places, and could've easily drafted two LB to cover our holes. I'm sure Coples would be fine, and Melvin Ingram has been pretty impressive when I've seen him, but I still wouldn't want Cox. DT and CB just didn't fall to where they made sense.

Coples is looking like a stud, but frankly, so is Luke.

The guy is near the ball always. Stopping runners in short yardage. Sanchize got a good spot on his 4th and 1. Should've been dead. Which would put LK on both stops short.

    The guy's instinctive as hell.

Would be nice to have DL, but either way, we came away with what looks to be a great player, so I won't complain much. But yeah...the DL needs dramatic improvement. Hardy, man...wtf.

Kuechly looks so good when he's playing in the middle, which is frustrating since he won't be doing that except in short yardage packages for the next three years.

Yeah I agree with this. When did we stop putting the best players in the best positions to make plays?

Beason is not a bad MLB. If he regains all his speed, I'd rather see him at OLB cuz I don't think Luke has enough to play out there. But I think we need to see Bason before we start second guessing the staff.

Pretty impressed with Murphy. Still no true #2 WR on the team though.

Oh, it's not a slam on Beason. But as Collin says, Keuchly is a beast in the middle, and just above average on the outside. I just feel like the defense is better off with Beason at Will and Keuchly at Mike.
