    I think he also fields a car through JR for special occasions (read when a one time race sponsor wants JR to drive for them)...

    I agree that if Jr was at a different company he might have a championship by now. hes won more races than Kenseth and Busch who have both won titles. Busch got his in the first chase crap, and Kenseth won only one race his championship year. Hes a better driver than he gets credit for, but he gets tons of undeserved and probably unwanted hype just because of his name. If he was Dale Jarrett jr people probably wouldnt bash him so hard

    7 years of fulltime cup racing
    and 5 races in 1999...

    17 wins
    69 top 5's
    109 top 10's

    over 36 million dollars in winnings....

    But Mark Martin in 20+ years has won only 35 races... and not a championship to show for it...

    Junior has almost half the wins in 1/3 of the time... thats pretty good numbers unless your saying someone like Mark Martin isnt a good driver...

    Unlike jr Martin didn't have everything handed to him on a silver platter. He came up the hard way and will always be 10x the driver jr is...
