did you hear that?i think that was the 24 going POOF!

fuck all you haters!solarte made the best point about him being competetive if he had majority ownership.they tested the "car of tomorrow" and were absolute shit, then jr took one of the cars to JR motorsports, did some work and were the best at the next test session,THAT speaks volumes about how teresa is running DEI

woo hoo...jr tested a car and made it go fast. Have things gotten so desperate that you will brag about a testing session?

I'd like to consider myself in the group that could careless about Earnhardt Jr, BUT it would be in DEI's interest to give Jr. the reigns. If he leaves DEI falls apart and is gone. So there hopes will be riding on him succeeding. But if he leaves their gone one way or the other.

If Jr were running for Childress/Hendrick/Gibbs all this time he'd have championships (plural) by now. They all have owners that KNOW the business, not a widow who doesn't even go to the stinking track.

The big question is: Is JR mature enough to run a race team and all that goes with that and still race?

I don't think he would be the active president in that regard...not until he is done racing. I think he drives, and hires someone to run the day to day...someone he knows and trusts.
