He was making a joke about Collin arguing with magnus for not knowing about Marrone not insulting you.

still think he's bargain bin. Looking him up doesn't mean I had no idea who he was. That's you lying to fit this same bullshit you always try. The whole "intellectual honesty really only matters when I'm trying to discredit someone else" bit. Unless you can prove you actually know what I really meant.

By you, in arguments. Not really anyone else. Remember, when I have made a legitimate mistake, I've said "I was wrong". You saying I "never, ever" admitted to a mistake is probably wrong and just foolish to even suggest. I'll state that I'm stubborn. I don't think that's a revelation. But that I won't say my opinion is a proveable lie when you're trying to discredit someone - so their opinion apparently won't matter or something - isn't something I'm going to do just because you're pulling the "you're in denial" logical fallacy.

This is an opinion. This isn't a "lie".

Being a non-playcalling coordinator doesn't really get you a ton of credit in the NFL. There are some guys who've still ascended, but it's less likely and rightly so.

There are also very few guys who've jumped from pro to college HC and back with significant success, or else more guys would. And no, I don't find 8-5 in the neutered Big East to be an amazing accomplishment compared to the other names that have been brought up from college this year.

four consecutive years, with a combined winning percentage of about .3, yes. Of course, a total lack of success doesn't mean he absolutely wouldn't, but I'd have considered it very unlikely. Did you find it likely?

Also - this is where you would be pissing and moaning that I just wanted to pick a fight with you.

Of course it does. What else would it mean? If I said last year "Wp28 mentioned Georgia guard Cordy Glenn, who I had to look up," that doesn't mean I was checking his Wikipedia page for neat personal stories or that I was going to give him a call. Saying you "had to look up" someone means you didn't know about them and needed to seek out information. It's not a big deal that there was a coach you didn't know about, but because I knew about him you suddenly have to pretend that you knew all along.

If only. Hell, I'm extremely stubborn, but I unprompted corrected myself for disagreeing with PP about Lavonte David. Or I make jokes about comeback routes, etc. Stubborn would be easy to deal with. You simply can't ever admit to being wrong even when unquestionably proven so.

Saying before his draft that Shawne Merriman was a "DE-only" was proven undeniably wrong and yet you wouldn't admit to being wrong about that for years. That's why I keep bringing it up, because it's so ridiculous. You have a laundry list of things you've clearly been proven wrong about and yet you will never admit any of them.

That's amusing given that you recently brought up Ferentz (4-8) and Tedford (3-9, fired).

I have no idea what Richardson is doing or will do. I wouldn't be surprised if he had given personnel control to a high profile coaching hire given that history.

You did. I very politely corrected you about Marrone and you had a pouty, passive aggressive response.

No. I know you enjoy telling me what I really think, but sadly, you're wrong. It doesn't help that your supposed clairvoyance only happens to support you every time.

This is a massive heap of bullshit. I won't say "I'm wrong" about opinions you don't like. I say I'm wrong when I'm factually wrong. You know that, but you keep lying about it.

    My opinion was incorrect.

Yes. Two pro style coaches who had shitty years this year. Two guys who have much better winning percentages, in better conferences. I didn't say they were popular choices, like Chip Kelly, Brian Kelly or Nick Saban, who you know I was referring to.
Are you to suggest that he's on par with the latter three?
I would be. I believe JR would be. I also don't believe he'd have picked a college coach.

hahaha. You think that's what all this was? Sure. Of course.

And you two cod smokers seemed to be tolerating each other much better since the new year started. I thought maybe you had made resolutions not to be narcissistic dickheads; or figured that Faggy and Birdshit had brought in a mediator to help you understand each others' fragile opinions.

You two need to hold hands and sing a verse of Kumbaya.
