Anderson designated a June 1st cut. So now I don't get it at all, I assumed they would eat it all this year so as not to fuck up 2014.

Especially if it only saves 200k or at the very least the cost of a vet minimum player

If somebody had to go, I wish it would have been Beason. :(

If Davis can come back after 3 ACLs and make the contribution he made last year im not gonna lose faith in Beason.

Wasnt too long ago he was a 3 time pro bowler.

Interesing note: Panthers scheduled a workout with Zaviar Gooden, Mizzou OLB.

    Achilles are different from ACLs.

ACLs are much easier to recover from than Achilles ruptures. Almost no one returns from an Achilles with their former explosiveness. Plus we already know that Beason was rubbish at playing outside linebacker even before he exploded that tendon.

I get that (see Takeo Spikes) but I thought his issues were thigh and shoulder injuries and some old fashioned rust. Did he reagrevate the Achilles?

The thigh and shoulder may have officially put him out for this year Achilles injuries generally cause a permanent degradation in athletic performance he'll never be what he was/what we paid for especially ata position that demands he be somewhat large
