They showed Rucker going nuts. That guy is crazy out there. He gets knocked down and still talks his game. He should be talked about as much as Peppers, if not more. Gotta love the D. Even if the stats aren't like last years, they look like they are playing hard. That bit on the Panthers made me happy, even with the taste of the last 3 weeks still in my mouth.

Heheh. Gotta give my neighbor some props. Garza, LG, Falcons, took on Jenkins most of the night, but he slammed Rucker once. I saw it watching the ESPN feature of having Rucker miked-up. Garza is blocking Rucker, and Rucker jumps up trying to block a pass that flies overhead. As soon as Ruck's feet leave the ground, Garza shoves Rucker hard and Rucker lands flat on his back. I mean hard on the flat of his back. Rucker jumps up real pissed and starts yelling at Garza, "You can't stop me!" Garza just walks off.

When I told Garza about the clip, he just grinned.

At the same time, Garza was (and has been prior) impressed with the whole Panther D-line.

that happens, though. The defensive lineman's willing to give up the body for the possible disruption

That said, I liked Garza coming out and thought he had a good future at G, not just C. Came out of college incredibly strong.

I saw that play where ruck got pancaked.

Anybody see the clip where Duce Staley pancaked a DE? The LT that had been on him immediately just starting smacktalking the fallen DE. It was sweet.

Yeah. Duce is a little dude, too. Just took the guy head on. Maybe the end was just gonna stop and say "allright you got me"? That'd be stupid as hell, because you get the right back and he'll do...well, that.

Duece got his bell rung as well. That was a big time play......giving it up for the team. Several other Eagle's were shown making good blocks all over the field during various plays against Dallas. Great coaching and execution will carry you a long way.

I was impressed by the fact

it wasn't another call to Vick worship! Michael Rucker was mentiond as often as Michael Vicl for the piece. A little more realistic observation than the Vick orgy on ESPN!
