I showed proof that Peppers didn't really lift. You said he worked hard in the weight room, but after the proof, backed off it and merely said he's obviously still very strong. I asked for some proof of this overwhelming strength, and I'm not surprised I'm not seeing it.

fair enough. Since I don't anticipate I'm going to get any rational levels of proof about Peppers' strength, and Collin will defend JP to the ends of the earth and down to the root of his ballhair, there's not much point, is there?

I'm pretty sure I just got through explaining how disappointing it was that Peppers was either unable or unwilling to learn proper technique, so accusing me of blindly defending him is your typical dishonesty. Moreover, saying that Peppers isn't strong was stupid and you know that. You also know that it was stupid for you to suggest that Hardy has shown more "effort" than Peppers did because Hardy supposedly is up to 300 pounds. As you were keen to point out, I've made stupid comments of my own, but unlike you I own up to them and correct them. These prolonged, totally pointless arguments happen because you have never had the courage to acknowledge your own mistakes.

And regarding "proof" that Peppers was strong, it's sad that you make me post this as if you never watched him play and actually thought he was some weakling who got pushed around:

    And as for his workouts:

Just grow up, man. Learn to admit when you make a mistake instead of always dragging this shit out and making it worse on yourself.

I am not trying to get between the two of you in one of your classic wording battles but those clips show a lot more of Pepper's speed and athletic ability than his strength. The bull rush he put on Samuels was pretty stout but the rest of it was mostly agility. Any guy Pepper's size can knock down QBs and drag down running backs. I did not watch all of the second clip but a lot of it was agility drills.

No you're doing it wrong. You're supposed to say "My penis is bigger" and fuss as to why the other guys have smaller penises. Geez Thelt do you not know this dance.

What's sad is they're both pretty smart about this stuff, but neither can let it go. Just say "Hey you have a different opinion than I do."

And stop insulting each other or anyone else over a different opinion.

I was at that preseason game where he sacked Jason Campbell with Chris Samuels. That was like watching something out of a video game.

Actually the problem is that magnus never acknowledges a mistake when he says something stupid, going all the way back to when he used to defend Seifert to the death or insist that he wasn't wrong when he said Shawne Merriman was a DE-only. A lot of people will never admit to mistakes, I guess because they think it makes them look bad, but everyone says stupid things from time to time. My own favorite was when I made the ridiculous statement that Tomlinson was only a 3rd round RB because I didn't think he could run between the tackles in the NFL.

Suggesting that Greg Hardy showed more effort than Peppers because Hardy supposedly is at 300 pounds was a stupid thing to say, and then acting like Julius wasn't strong just made magnus look even worse. He says something dumb, I call him on it, and then he says even more dumb things trying to justify the first dumb thing instead of acting like a man by correcting himself.

Whether you are right or wrong on this you only need to say your opinion once. When you and Mags continually repeat the same thing to each other over and over (with some insults thrown in) it makes you both look silly. It is good for entertainment value though.
