Until this year, amost every training camp thread on any board I looked at had him cut. I think he put that shit to rest for a while last year.

I wrote an article at the onset of training camp reminding people not to forget about Goings. Of course, I didn't like what I saw in Shelton, but I didn't expect Davis would start the first 2/3rds of the season, too. Which helped - without Stephen, we'd not have gotten most of those 12 TDs, or they'd have been passing TDs.
But still, I assumed that Goings would be an integral part. For whatever reason, that guy runs a lot better after October passes.

Agreed. And between his performance last year and his cooperative look with Foster in the latter half of this season, I think there's a good chance that will actually happen.

Is it just me, or does the Foster/Goings breakout over the past few weeks look like the OL scheme was for them the whole season and they finally put the right backs in to make it work? My thinking is, Foster/Goings is a much different running style than Davis/Foster.

Wahle should be pulled a bit more, sure. And looking back over Chicago game tape, we did pull a fair amount this year. I'd had these thoughts around the time of Wahle's signing, but didn't know how far we'd take it.

    I thought it was posted:

Goings returned to the game and ran the ball a few more times, including a third and long draw. He didn't look hurt much to me when he ran.

I'd still be willing to bet he's got a slight to moderate groin pull.
