I wouldn't hire him, unless it was as a DC. There will be plenty of other better prospects next year IMO. Somebody desperate may pick him up, but I think he's not in the top 10.

Be tough to take a DC job after 9 years up top. Pay cut, moving family, etc.

I'm not convinced he'll get another HC job. I'm not sure he wants another one. He's been doing this for a decade and he's getting into retirement age.

I know he didn't wait as long but has Capers even sniffed a head coaching gig after the Panthers and subsequent HC gig with Texans? He went as DC to Jags after us then Texans HC for a few years, Dolphins DC? Packers DC? Didn't he do something for the Pats?

The only way Fox isn't a head coach next season is if he decides not to be one.

yeah, we'll see if the league is in agreement that he got hamstrung, and then we'll see if we need to trade down because no #1 qb will want to play for us.

he'll get another opportunity. the results will be much the same. he's not the kind of guy that's going to change his ways too awfully much.

Yeah, he's in no doubt. He has a Superbowl appearance and a few NFCC games. There are going to be a lot of vacancies, and someone will want a steady hand.

anywhere I lay my head I'm gonna call my home
    this.

He might wait a year to get it, but as of right now there are like 3 jobs that are almost ideal for him.
