Jacksonville placed Gabbert on IR this move could push them out of the running for #1.

Chad Henne is a decent quarterback. It's kind of insane that no one wanted to give him a legitimate shot at a starting job.

Didn't they hire Mularkey to develop Gabbert? That was a solid move.

Oh god. Arizona would have been the absolute perfect landing spot. Wow. Nice to know that our franchise isn't the only one making dumb decisions.

Didn't he have a shot once upon a time?

I too thought he was gonna be good enough to play for somebody.

I was just looking at the standings to see who has the most losses. At this moment Jax and KC have 9, Panthers, Browns have 8. Followed by Philly, Oakland, Jets, Lion with 7.

We have games with Philly, Oakland and KC, and Cleveland, KC and Oakland all play each other. Not taking the time to scout them all out to see who else plays who but there is a lot of potential for us to be right up there.

We'll probably get the #1 pick since this is a draft without a great choice.

    edit:
Actually, probably #2 and watch Lotulelei get taken first.

I don't know how we get 1 or 2. We should beat the Eagles without Vick and McCoy, and we should beat probably one of KC/Oakland, maybe both.

I guess if we lose tonight there is still "hope", Atlanta and NO may both still have something to play for when we face them. Who knows about SD.

edit: well we won. Jax won. KC stands alone with 10 losses, Jax 9, logjam right now at 8: Oakland, Cleveland, Philly, us.

We still have KC/Oak and SD, we could screw up and win all three, be drafting from way back.
