a Panther All Ten Year Team? I don't recall seeing a thread on it and the ballot came along with the invoice for my season tix last week. We've had some damn good LBs, but it was sure hard for me to think of 2 worthy CBs and DTs:

    Offense:

    2 Tackles (Brockermeyer & Steussie)
    2 Guards (Donalley & Skrepenak)
    1 Center (Mitchell)
    1 TE (Walls)
    2 WRs (Moose & Smith)
    1 FB (Howard Griffith)
    1 RB (Davis)
    1 QB (Steve B.)

    Defense:

    2 DEs (Rucker & Peppers)
    2 DTs (Jenkins & Buckner?)
3 LBs (Greene, Lathon & Mills)
    2 CBs (E. Davis & Manning?)
    2 S (Minter & Pat Terrell)

    Delhomme over Steve B

I can't believe anyone on earth would believe Steve B was more important to us than Delhomme. He's accurate..(SB-ALWAYS seemed seemed to throw 2 INT's a game that would lose it for us)

And- He's lead us to what- 8 last minute victories? Against one for SB?

SB should hold Jakes Jock, shine his shoes, and be hopeful somebody hires him.

I would say it is simply his body of work being too small. Let us see this year how he handles fame. We haven't talked about it yet but I'm praying he doesn't do a Collins and alienate half the team. Or maybe, start down a path self destructive and self love. I don't think he will but we'll see.

Exactly... I considered Delhomme, but he simply hasn't been here long enough to supplant Steve B. ... its possible in 3 more years I'd say without question that Jake was the greatest Panthers QB to date, but as of right now he's technically only a one hit wonder... but I do expect a good deal of Jake now that I've seen this and I only expect improvement from him.

But you listed Manning who started even fewer games than Jake. Says a lot about our CBs doesn't it?
