Cowboys fan Ed Werder said the Panthers have "internally" discussed trading for DeSean Jackson.

He's such a piece of shit. Good player but the personality issues are damning.

Dynamic player when healthy. Slight and injury prone. Also like you guys are saying a bit of a nut. Wouldn't be distraught at a 3rd rounder given what we could get in the draft with that pick.

Limited route tree, too. Skated until he got paid a couple years ago then said he wanted more money this year... I think you see where this is going.

HE'S LIKE A YOUNG SMITTY, WHO DIDNT HAVE PROEHL (or bright, or lucas, or kasay, or the other crushed face) AS A TEAMMATE.

He's marginal, is what we're saying.

Let's not pretend that Steve Smith was a great teammate either.

I'd be shocked if we're connected to this in any way other than someone like Philly or his agent implying we are in order to motivate a team to jump. He is talented but expensive and wanting more.

Trading Hardy for Jackson straight up would make some sense for both teams.

Uh, no. But you are correct that is about the only way in hell that trade could happen cap wise. I would love DJ but fuck that salary. Ain't happening in fact crazy to suggest.

Only way in hell I would even listen to DJ for Hardy is if they throw in a second. They won't as they want to get rid of DJs cap number anyway. Carolina trading for him is laughable. Would they take DeAngelo...hell to the no. Gotta get 10m (or close) off the cap to make the trade happen for Carolina. Not seeing anyone worth it to Philly.

If they want Charles Johnson and his number fine. I'd throw in a third rounder too but they aren't that stupid. In fact DJ for Johnson and our second wouldn't hurt us much but won't happen.
