    Did anyone happen to catch Greuden talking about Steve Smith last night? He couldn't say enough good things about him. I don't know what Tampa Bay's cap figure but I would not be at all surprised if they made a run at Smith.

    We should have pushed harder to sign him. I bet he still harbors a little ill will over the first offer and the rumored border line comment

    I think he did the right thing and just shut his mouth and play like hell. He does owe the Panthers a little lattitude considering how often we have looked beyond his off-field and training room antics.

    If Jerry is willing to cash in chips to keep the police out of the mauling incident, than I would say he will make sure the man is signed to a proper contract...
