SI's Paul Zimmerman, who has been known to throw a curveball or two, ranks good ol' Muhsin Muhammad as the No. 2 receiver in the NFL as of this day, Sept. 22. Marvin Harrison is No. 1 and Randy and T.O. are down the list.

    Good for Moose!

I also hope someone points this out to Steve Smith, who's not ranked*. That'll put a little Tiger Balm in the ol' jockstrap.

(*Not saying he should be in there at this point, but I bet Steve thinks he should.)

Once his QB can get the ball to him, and not his 6'10" mirror image, he'll get on that list.

Moose is the total package though, he's the most physical reciever in the league. He makes a good Bear.

Bears | Muhammad Better Than Advertised
    Thu, 22 Sep 2005 20:31:24 -0700 - KFFL

Larry Mayer, of ChicagoBears.com, reports Chicago Bears WR Muhsin Muhammad has been better than advertised for the team. He leads the Bears with 12 receptions for 140 yards and one touchdown entering the team's Week 3 game against the Cincinnati Bengals. "He's done everything that I expected and more," said wide receivers coach Darryl Drake. "His leadership and his ability to diagnose things on the field while they're happening is just tremendous. He's a tremendous asset for us."
