Four preseason games with an early bye is a weird quirk, but at least the division games are evenly distributed. There's none of that same opponent in two weeks bullshit. The SNF game should be fun.

I've given up on projecting wins and losses because there's too many variables between now and the games. These days, most NFL teams are walking a fine line between good and bad. Injuries have so much to do with that.

I think if Canales actually lets the starters play more in preseason, we have a good shot at starting 3-1. But the next quarter of games is going to be tougher, looks like a 2-2 record to me at best. And I can easily see us slipping to 1-3 in the third four game block. But at least we finish easier, there's no way we get swept by New Orleans two years running, Burrow will be injured again, Rico will have hit his wall in Pittsburgh, and Atlanta is in Charlotte. A 4-1 finish is realistic, whcih would put our final record at around 10-7. Another incremental improvement year.

    You heard it here first!

To date the panthers have beat Pittsburgh exactly once. outside of the Cota game we're cursed against them.

The guy has obvious weaknesses but develops a hell of a QB. We did the same thing but Reich had a much thinner Resume than Mccarthy who has reigned in an aging farve, fixed kid rodgers, and improved Dak and when he's had to go to the backups they usually play better than they do outside of his coaching.
