If you have an antennae for free TV then you can watch the spring training Bravos around Charlotte for free on WBTV or their sub channel Bounce. On the digital scale they are channels 3.1 and 3.2.

I opted for the Braves.TV $99 deal. Better picture and a ton more games.

 

You didn't go through the MLB.TV thing?

 

Yeah. I had to since I didn't use any of the other sources. I d/l the MLB app on my tv and signed up through the app.

 

I did it for a couple seasons but the blackout games made me crazy.
I signed up for Astros games and so many games blacked out or sold to Prime or whatever, that I dropped it

 

Braves,TV is showing 140 of the 162 games. Those others are going on priority sources like FOX and AppleTV.

 

I was suppose to see Astros games, but Cincinnati, Atlanta, Baltimore, Washington and seems like one other team, but all were blocked because of local coverage.

Like where are the Reds outlets in Western, NC? Haha, none of them could tell me. Just blacked a lot of games out, so I said heck with it.

 

That's a main draw with Braves.TV deal, no local blackouts. With the old Bally/Diamond Braves deal NC was considered a local market and games weren't available. The only Braves' games I could see were on network TV.
