It was more the points he was making because there are some very valid ones there.

Totally agree! A football player needs a little bit of BMI.

McShay has the Panthers' taking this guard at #39 in his latest mock.
He has them taking Stroud #1.

    39. Carolina Panthers
    O'Cyrus Torrence, G, Florida

Let's get Stroud some protection on the interior. Torrence allowed just two sacks over 47 starts -- many of which came at Louisiana before transferring -- and he rarely gives up ground to pass-rushers. He'd also help open things up for Miles Sanders in the run game, as he shows the ability to control linemen and move them laterally.

He also has Hooker going in the first round.

Every single day, a new talking head comes out with info about who the Panthers love. Stroud, Young, back and forth.

I wish the draft started tomorrow rather than several weeks from now.

For 2nd round, if Torrence were there, I'd venture to say he would be hard to pass up.
My personal view is that there is going to be an ILB or DE there that would fit well in our defense. Jack Campbell/Drew Sanders or Felix Anuike-Uzomah/BJ Ojulari. That would seem more realistic and a better fit, especially after we just signed the utility Olineman a week or so back.
