Given this year’s linebacker class, I can see a team reaching for Campbell

Yep. For a team that has always put an emphasis on speed at the position I can't really see Carolina drafting Campbell.

Smoke means fire? Or just smoke and mirrors?

I keep reading tweets and stuff about DeAndre Hopkins getting traded to Carolina. It would certainly give us the speedster to take the top off defense, but not sure about cap implications or what we'd have to trade. I am no sure we have anyone I would want to get rid of now, except a TE or something. Sure don't want to give up more draft picks, of course he would be better than anyone we could get in the draft I suppose

Campbell is 250 lbs and ran a 4.65. That's Luke territory--speed is not his problem. Physically he checks all the boxes, but he lets the play come to him too much and I'm not sure about his pre-snap diagnosis. But I imagine he'll be a decent starter in the NFL for a long time.

    Very true
He could be good if not the "general" of the defense. If Shaq can put him in the right place, as Luke used to do for the defense, then Campbell would certainly help stop the running game. Not sure he is great at covering TE's either

I have seen more than one source knock his coverage potential. Campbell is touted as a run stopper though, and that would be a refreshing change

We are in no mans land with him I fear.

Since ILB is scarce group this year, he will be overdrafted, probably at bottom of 2nd, about where our 61 pick was. No way he lasts till 93

    More DLine rotation help.

Henry Anderson, a tackle, resigned to Panthers squad.

The more I look at mocks and team needs and this class of WRs I think the panthers would have to draft a kid that's at least an inch shorter than Bryce Young at 93 if they are looking for speed. In the age of bigger receivers and bigger DBs I really don't like the thought of little wide outs. There will only be one Steve Smith, and he was short but the man was far from little.

This is a guy that is intriguing to me.

    6'4" 221 lbs and ran a 4.38 forty time.

Maybe he was in bad system, or maybe he sold drugs out of his dorm, but not sure why this guy cannot make some team better. Looks like a great red zone guy
