Reports also said that wasn't true.

    We'll just have to see.

Smith likes Zay Flowers as a close match to him and was doing some comparing of the two the other day.

Not sure if we'd be in for him though.

Areas where we could use some help in draft, mostly at backup now

    QB
    RB
    TE
    G/T
    NT
    ILB

    WR x2 and a starter

So maybe Ian Thomas stays? Or is easy to trade now. He took a pay cut, which was long overdue.

Fitterer seems to be righting the ship these days. Rhule had authority over everything before, but now Fitterer is acting like a GM.

Not sure we have ever seen that in Carolina. Hurney was supremely horrible and gave out massive contracts.

Yeah, I don't think Flowers makes it out the 1st round, let alone all the way to 39.
I don't know if Smitty has even heard of Washington or watched any videos.
Washington was also used on the outside at Penn St. and had success.
I might lay a comment on some of Steve's Youtubes to try and see if it gets to him and put a bug in his ear about Washington.
Washington wasn't able to give it a go at the combine. I read he was injured and walking around in a boot.

    WR's

    Ngigba
    Johnston
    Addison
    Flowers

By most mocks around, these guys are projected in the first round.

Hyatt is the borderline guy that might fall over into the 2nd.

Then Mims and Downs and Tillman are pretty much 2nd rounders

Of course this is just talking head stuff, nobody knows how teams see them

cause no one is going to trade anything for him. if you're lucky a conditional 6th or 7th but why not wait until he is cut?

Maybe we wait to cut him later, not sure. So many questions about his foot that I doubt we get takers.

I might hold him and hope he show up fantastic in training camp and all of a sudden, we have Dalton, Corral and first rounder. QB room looks much better then. Then we wait on better trade.

    FAs so far...

    S Vonn Bell
    C Bradley Bozeman
    TE Hayden Hurst
    RB Miles Sanders
    DT Shy Tuttle
    DT DeShawn Williams

Would have liked to have had Thielen. Didn't see anyone else available better. Hope they don't go trading draft picks.
