    Panthers are interested. Asking Packers about a trade. So all that staff, and this is the plan?

    I disagree, respectfully. Fitterer has said in the past that we want to be in on every deal. Just making the call doesn't signal intent to make it happen, it can also be about due diligence.

    Rodgers is still an awesome quarterback who'd make Carolina an instant Super Bowl contender. His contract would have to be reworked significantly in order to facilitate a trade - I believe Green Bay packed a bunch of funny money well beyond his expected playing career - but if you're Fitterer you'd be crazy not to at least inquire about it.


    I'd much rather do a one-off with Rodgers than trade future 1st rounders for one of these flawed rookie QBs.
