If they don’t see a QB they like, much less covet, and the switch to 3-4 is on, they damn well better go D-line or LB.

We know the secondary is in great need as well.

Just don’t do anything stupid, damn it.

An impactful, deep safety is an underrated need, especially in a new system that plays it's safeties deeper. Woods isn't impactful anywhere and all of Chinn's best plays come from blitzing.

So what to make of Jalen Carter.

Will the charges stick? Will he be found to be untrustworthy by teams? Will he slide in the draft? How far?

Would you take him at 9?

It would depend on how he interviews. Obviously, he made a huge mistake...is this an anomaly or are bad decisions common for him...teams will have boots on the ground on the Georgia campus asking lots of questions.

Todd McShay reported a while back that Carter had character issues and might drop in the draft.
    Now this.
Even though they are called misdemeanors which is odd to me.
Would the other vehicle not have sped and crashed if Carter had chosen not to race it?
Given that it was already reported that he had issues previously. I would not look his way.

I don't think there's a future star in that list.
