Bills teammate says Hamlin is "awake and showing more signs of improvement"

    From CNN's Jillian Martin

Shortly before the Buffalo Bills posted an update on Damar Hamlin, Bills cornerback Kaiir Elam tweeted that his teammate was awake and improving.

“Our boy is doing better, awake and showing more signs of improvement. Thank you God. Keep the prayers coming please. All love 3!”

also has the highest selling jersey... crazy how much support is coming out for this kid

hope nothing comes back from his past to mess it all up

I don't think he'll ever play again, he was only set to make $880,000 this year, after medical expenses, the kid is prob bankrupt. Don't think he's allowed to use toy drive funds for medical expenses.

Wouldn't the NFL team have a decent health and hospitalization policy for their employees?

Oh, the NFL and NFLPA will make sure the expenses are covered. Talk about a black eye if they don't, and it's pocket change next to the league's overall revenue.

it's better coverage than the military

but less than 3 years, he's not fully vested for pension or anything, once he's cut, he's on his own

I'd think the insurance will pay most and workman's comp. If he never plays again he will always have an ambassador job in the nfl

Now that he is out of the worst danger, is it ok to start cracking jokes? Did Tee Higgins get a sticker on his helmet for the big hit?
