Yeah, it doesn't excite me too much either, but I was just surprised that they found a roster spot for him. I hope he does well.
Maye reminds me a lot of Sam Howell in the face.

If the first preseason game is any indication...
    nothing has changed.
Even with a different coach the offense was scatter-shot
    and the defense was lethargic.
I know it's just the first preseason game and it was against a good Celtics team and Bridges wasn't playing, but still...
a 40 point loss never looks good no matter which angle you see it from.

My prediction for the upcoming season is that if there are trades or injuries that the Hornets have a worse record than last year. No playoffs for a 40 win team.

The second preseason game they improved.
    They only lost by 25.
The defensive oriented Clifford has his work cut out for him with this team.
I haven't seen them play yet, but they jacked up 43 3-point shots.
They were amazingly bad at it when only 9 managed to go in.

The third preseason is the first one I've had a chance to watch. The team looked better than what has been reported from the first two.
Then again they were playing the Celtics B team. They still had the same issues of not hitting 3s or defending the perimeter. The Hornet built up a 1st quarter lead forcing TOs and Ball getting hot scoring. Things got worse after that and they ended up losing by 11.
Man, they really miss not having that dumbass Bridges.

The Hornets are now 0-4 for the preseason and a shit ton of the minutes were used by the youngsters.
Oh yeah, they lost to a winless Wizards team that was playing without their star player Bradley Beal.
They were out scored by 18 in the 4th quarter and lost by 9.
LaMelo Ball turned his ankle and only played 20 minutes.
It's preseason and it is what it is.

The Hornets managed to lose all their preseason games.
On the positive side they did show some remarkable improvement along the way.
They lost by 5 to an excellent Celtics team.
