Early in the season, and with CMC, defenses had to game plan for different possibilities.
Now, all they have to do is rush, rush, rush after stopping the run. It makes for a passing game that is mostly limited to quick outs, the ones that CB's can sit on and jump.
Having a good Oline is a must for running, protecting the passer and opening up the entire playbook that defenses have to respect
Agree that Darnold is better than any college QB and that we need to heavily invest in the Oline

I don't see a QB worthy of a top 10 pick... someone will reach, no doubt.
Lots of defensive guys will go early, IMO

The prognosticators are saying maybe 3 QB in rd one. Old Miss, Pittsburgh and Howell

Should change this thread to who is the best LT & DT in the draft or FA

QB is no longer a need IMO

QB is a need. How many years do you think Cam has left, assuming Sunday wasn't an exception?

A 32 year old running QB with a history of injury issues is not exactly like having no new QB need.
The answer to that need is not currently on the roster.

3-5 years would not be a surprise to me, Rodney Peete signed here at 37, John Elway won his first SB at 37

Cam if healthy gives a good floor and plenty of potential. But walker can be upgraded and really a team should always have a healthy 3rd qb camp competition going even if you trust the backup .
