Brady winning the super bowl has invalidated all the Belichik is a good coach notions you may have harbored over the last 20 years sorry.

Where did I say I thought Belichick was a good coach?
Reading between the lines gets you nowhere.

I hate the Patriots and Belichik as much as anybody, but you can't say he isn't a good coach. He might not be the GOAT like some people say, but he is definitely on the the good side of the spectrum.

That Superbowl where he held the Greatest Show on Turf to 3 points was all coaching, IMO.

Belichick's main contribution to football is starting Brady over Bledsoe, which is a massive contribution, and a controversial decision at the time. If you remove that contribution, he's Jeff Fisher.

What did Matt Cassel do after having a great season with Patriots?
Got traded and then went into a typical post Patriots abyss of mediocrity and injury.
Any coach that can get 10 wins with Cassel at QB is a decent coach.

I hate belicheat almost as much as I hate asslanta. .. so I will not defend him. I will say that Brady definitely took a massive runny dump on any argument of his former coach being the GOAT.
