Now that college athletes can make their own endorsements, I have a feeling we are going to see some extremely rich players, before they are ever even drafted. If Trevor Lawrence had this opportunity a couple years ago, I'll bet he would have been richer than at least half of the NFL players, certainly the majority of backups, before he even came into the league.

Are there any college football players now that are expected to get really rich over the next year or two?

It's coming to High School next. I have no idea how this is all going to shake out, but it should be entertaining to say the least.

OMG, the super star QBs from famous Texas 5A football programs like Odessa Permian, might be millionaires before they leave high school. That is freaky. Why go to college?

There is not any better minor league system. Yet.

I've been pro-pay for a while, but fully aware of the secondary consequences. This is primarily because I've believed athletes who generate revenue should be compensated. I'm highly annoyed with the people who've been pro-pay, who are now whining about the secondary consequences. Once you cross this threshold, there is no amateur football. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

If there is no amateur football, how will that affect ambitious parents in the stands of their 12 year old who isn't getting enough playing time? Are there financial implications that could be litigious for an 8th grader?

It's going to be one big train wreck that makes its way through the college ranks, then into high school, and down into the pop warner leagues. Baseball has already been through it to an extent, but not with the money involved now.

Yeah yeah soccer is gay but the teams in Europe run their own youth teams down to pop Warner ages. Once they see the money to be made nfl teams will have a very interesting choice
