I only hope I'm accurate about pick #8.

    1. Jacksonville Jaguars — Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson
    2. New York Jets — Zach Wilson, QB, BYU
    3. San Francisco 49ers — Mac Jones, QB, Alabama. Yes, I have the 49ers sticking with Jones because of his big brain and amazing anticipation. In the end, Shanny wants him and Shanny gets his way.
    4. Denver Broncos — Justin Fields, QB, Ohio State. First trade of the night. Half the fan base in Atlanta wants Pitts, half want Fields, but their options are a little limited by the cap--more rookie contracts would be good for them. On the other hand, Denver knows Locke is not the answer, and they just got the perfect backup/mentor for a rookie QB. They send their 1st, 3rd, and a 2022 2nd to move up to 4th.
    5. Cincinnati Bengals — Ja’Marr Chase, WR, LSU. Yes, they need a tackle, but Chase will make more of an impact than one.
    6. Miami Dolphins — Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida. If Pitts goes to the Falcons this will be Waddle. Tua needs a weapon.
    7. New England Patriots — Trey Lance, QB, North Dakota State. And another trade! The Lions need talent and they don't have a ton of picks, so they get New England's 1st and 2nd round picks and NE has the perfect guy to sit behind Cam and develop for a year.
    8. Carolina Panthers — Some fat guy out of Oregon. Don't want to jinx it, but if the top five QBs do go before we pick, we're going to be really happy.
    9. Atlanta Falcons — Jalen Waddle, WR, Alabama. Atlanta gets yet another Alabama WR to go with their collection.
    10. Dallas Cowboys — Patrick Surtain II, CB, Alabama. This almost feels written in stone at this point. First defensive player taken.
    11. New York Giants — Rashawn Slater, OT, Northwestern. Thought hard about DeVonta Smith here but Gettleman is making the pick and he loves hog mollies.
    12. Philadelphia Eagles — Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina. No real surprise here, given who's on the board.
    13. Los Angeles Chargers — Christian Darrisaw, OT, Virginia Tech. Another obvious one. You can argue that this is too high for him but there are three day one starters at LT and he's the last one.
    14. Minnesota Vikings — Kwity Paye, EDGE, Michigan. They need an OT but there isn't the value here, although they could trade down. I think they stay and grab Paye.
    15. Detroit Lions — Micah Parsons, LB, Penn State. Huge value pick, BPA and it isn't close.
    16. Arizona Cardinals — DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama. Not only is this another huge value, it's at a position of need.
    17. Las Vegas Raiders — Teven Jenkins, OT, Oklahoma State. Gruden is gonna Gruden. They just dismantled their line, so they need to build it back. Chucky falls in love with Jenkins frame and picks him a little earlier than he warrants to lock down the right side.
    18. Miami Dolphins — Alijah Vera-Tucker, OL, USC. I like AVT more than Jenkins, but the Raiders make stupid picks. He can play either Tackle or Guard. If somehow we traded down with New England I could easily see him being our pick, unless Horn is on the board.
    19. Washington Football Team — Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, LB, Notre Dame. RR is going to love this guy, he can lock down the center of the field with his speed and coverage skills.
    20. Chicago Bears — Elijah Moore, WR, Ole Miss. Got to give Dalton someone to throw to.
    21. Indianapolis Colts — Azeez Ojulari, EDGE, Georgia. They really need a Tackle, but the good ones are all gone and they're too smart to reach. They need an edge also though, and Ojulari is the best out there.
    22. Tennessee Titans — Rashod Bateman, WR, Minnesota. Value meets need
    23. New York Jets — Jamin Davis, LB, Kentucky. Another boring pick but this kid will be leading the Linebackers by his second year.
    24. Pittsburgh Steelers — Javonte Williams, RB, UNC. I fucking hate Carolina, but I have to admit that Williams just seems to be a Steeler at heart. And I hate Alabama and Clemson more, so he's the pick that makes the most sense to me.
    25. Jacksonville Jaguars — Trevon Moehrig, S, TCU
    26. Cleveland Browns — Caleb Farley, CB, Virginia Tech. Incredible value here
    27. Baltimore Ravens — Zaven Collins, LB, Tulsa. Huge for a LB, he looks like a DE but whatever he is, he's on the edge anyway.
    28. New Orleans Saints — Eric Stokes, CB, Georgia. Could be Greg Newsome II but I'm not smart enough to definitively say which one fits their defense better. They need help though.
    29. Green Bay Packers — Greg Newsome II, CB, Northwestern. I think that Green Bay may actually draft Kellen Mond in an effort to piss Aaron Rodgers off again. He plays pretty well when he's angry
    30. Buffalo Bills — Najee Harris, RB, Alabama. Between Harris and Etienne, I like the former in Buffalo because of his hands and catch radius.
    31. Baltimore Ravens — Eiijah Moore, WR, Ole Miss. Best WR left on the board
    32. Tampa Bay Buccaneers — Jaelan Phillips, EDGE, Miami. And the rich get richer...

Though I don’t “like” some of those picks it makes sense.

Once you get past the top 10 may as well be throwing darts anyway. Some of them do make a ton of sense to me, given the team's needs and the general range they're supposed to be drafted in.

I appreciate everyone's hard work, but my mock is the correct one.

I look forward to hearing about a big fat guy at 8, or a trade down to get one and some extra picks.
