He is probably close to Love, the GB Qb that is being groomed to replace Aaron Rogers

Love is third on the depth chart. I have the feeling that he's going to bust hard.

It was a strange pick and he was definitely drafted higher than his value.

Mac Jones is the latest pick by Mel Kiper. If we can get an OT in 2 that wont suck too hard what say you all

at least Jones would make more sense than Lance or Wilson. He has faced tough competition in huge games (like Fields) and seems very poised and consistent. Next to Lawrence he might be the most NFL ready. .. however he’s still just a rookie and definitely could not be expected to produce more wins than TB (or my guy Brissett). The current brass wants a vet who can lead and win right now . .. not a year or two from now so it wouldn’t make sense in that light to spend that extremely valuable #8 pick on a rook QB project. I think Jones would shine in NE and ANY place with a good O-line much faster and more effectively than in carolina.

There's no way they can expect us to win now, at least not win at the level to compete for a championship. We need serious help on the offensive line and in the secondary. 2022 is the earliest we can expect a deep playoff run, so a rookie wouldn't kill us this year.

if you mean a rookie QB no it won’t “kill us” but it would not be efficient if they really want a known commodity, like they apparently wanted stafford. Man if Parsons does get overlooked then that guy is the key in my opinion. Many have said he could be the best defensive player in an already talented class. .. and he would be a player at a HUGE position of need. If you’d be willing to develop a offensive leader of the future, why not develop a defensive leader of the future so we can stop somebody?
Defense (specifically middle of the front 7) was arguably the weakest spot on the team last season and Parson would be an immediate upgrade. I know it might take him half the year to start taking some initiative but the guy offers a lot of what Luke did right out of the gate

I'm on the Parsons hype train. Farley would be great too. I won't be sad if we get a Left Tackle. But a TE in the top ten would just about break me.
