    Overheard a fan at a Giants game once who supposedly had an nfl ref as a neighbor. This ref supposedly admitted that they DO give home teams “breaks”.
    Ball spotting, not calling holds and PI’s, etc. Aside from that (and bonehead mistakes) i think there have been refs who will also blatantly CHEAT as part of pre-arranged Skullduggery.
    Not saying there has been a ton of that but who really fuckin knows. . .. anyone who does know ain’t tellin. )

    At the end of the Jacksonville game it sure didn't feel like the home team was getting any breaks.

    Yeah, maybe larger market teams trump the home field thing. When i was young we pulled for “America’s Team” and it did not matter where they were playing or who (except for maybe steelers or niners) the cowboys clearly got preferential treatment. As cowboys fans all of us were even fully aware of that fact.
