    Yesterday's defensive performance is tough to grade. Rodgers had receivers open on all three interceptions, but the collarbone was clearly an inhibiting factor. You can make bizarre but possibly true case that Green Bay would have been better off sticking with Brett Hundley for one more game.

    Either way, I don't love Rivera heaping praise on our cornerbacks for coming up with mostly lucky interceptions over the last two games.

    I still take Tampa seriously just because of some glaring athletic advantages they hold over Carolina. They look like a team that's mailed it in and Mike Smith is a useless faggot, but we don't have an ideal matchup with either one of their receivers. It just takes Winston having one hot outing for this to be close.

    The competition that we "play down to" has had some pretty significant matchup advantages. I warned everyone about Robbie Anderson before we played the Jets. It's not like the Panthers ate ice cream all week and didn't pay attention to the Jets. They just didn't have the matchups.

    I agree, but I'm going to call it like it is. There's still receivers running wide open in our secondary. It's disturbing. Better competition will exploit this if we don't tighen it up.

    Green Bay activing Rodgers and hoping he'd be himself was always pie in the sky thinking by Mike McCarthy. There's a decent chance the Packers beat us if not for three ill advised interceptions by a clearly hobbled QB.
