    Well, Benjamin does qualify as a hog mollie. NFLNet was where I heard it. Throw the possible Benjamin extension on top of not talking to Olsen and Davis does make some sense as far as a possible straw that broke the camels back. And that the Norman situation apparently pissed Richardson off. I can imagine the Smith thing didn't sit well either although Richardson may have supported the thinking behind it. Despite his antics, I think Smitty and Jerry had a pretty strong relationship toward the end.

    I think they're reacting more to how entertaining Smith's reaction was than evaluating the move itself by that criterion. It was pretty fucking funny.

    Every ex player is trashing him right now. He was obviously a giant asshole inside the building.


    The only thing I don't like about this firing is that it wasn't recorded Hard Knocks style. I would have loved to have seen Gettleman's face when he realized his career was over, and to see his fat ass wobbling out of JRs office. To see him being ushered out by security. That's my only complaint today.

    I get the arrogance part. David's contract talks are another head scratcher. As good as he is he is still 33 and 3 ACL surgeries. Get the impression Richardson wants to take care of his boys
