    - I love - LOVE - having Funchess and Benjamin side by side in the slot near the endzone. What the fuck do you do as a defense? Nobody is going to stop that shit, unless KB drops the ball. We're going to have a great redzone offense.

    - You have to tackle, DBs. I'll live with the high completion percentages, but you can't allow cheap gains on the back end of them. Those fuck ups offset the great work done in creating takeaways. I don't have to cover the fact that a team should never score a 28 yard touchdown on a fullback dive.

    - What a horrible kick by Gano at the end. Totally unacceptable. It was a bad snap, but that's no excuse. You pay a guy to make those kicks and that ball never came close to the uprights.

    - Cam, get off of your fucking ass when you break the huddle. That timeout we had to burn on the last drive kept us from being able to center the ball. I fucking love you man, but you can be real pain in the ass sometimes. I do give him a ton of credit for how he handled the questions about officiating. It's completely obvious by now that the officials have an agenda against Newton.

    - TD had a really nice edge rush on Siemien's second pick. For a couple years, I had been hoping we'd use him more in that roll. It's a nice changeup that should help our pathetic defensive ends.

    - Not sure if it was talked about, but Talib got in another cheap shot on Brown right after KB scored. What a fucking turd that guy is. I wish him nothing but the worst.

    - You know what I really enjoyed last night? Peyton Manning. I loved it when they had Peyton in the broadcast booth for half of the third quarter, as the momentum of the game was shifting towards Denver's favor. I loved it when he was cheering for Denver while this was happening. You guys know how I feel about player interviews during the games, but this one was extra special. And I loved his commercials. And I loved him carrying out the Lombardi Trophy before the game. I just loved everything about that. I hope he never has anything bad happen to him ever, because he's my favorite person in the world.

    - Vernon Butler swabs the cum off of the floor of a gay porno shoot.

Such a strange game. We did a lot of things that you usually need to do in order to win in the NFL, but a few junior varsity type mistakes did us in. Personally I'm glad that bullshit is over, guys.

The good news is that Chip Kelly is going to get rammed in the ass in nine days.

The penalty called against Darian Stewart on Thursday was the first time there was a roughing-the-passer penalty called against a Panthers opponent with Cam Newton at quarterback since Week 11 of the 2014 season against the Falcons.

I missed the game due to a prior obligation. From what I see here, and why I've heard on Sports Talk Radio, the shots on Newton were inexcusable. I take it the O-Line blew as much as the officiating? And did we have a rushing game?

Thanks for your takes on this.

Actually the oline and run game was decent most of the game. We played much better on O as a whole than we did in the SB. IMO, the D and gano was the most responsible for the let down leading to the loss, though we maybe should have scored some more after the D did get us turnovers.

So it was a team effort on the loss I guess.

But their D is great as well, especially pass rush and for some damn reason Shula forgot that a screen is an offensive play as well as some quick passes to my amazement against a good pass rush. Somehow we always manage to do shittty against first time starters, etc. at QB.

I expect our O to be good again this year, sans shula dumb plays and cam holding the ball too long. The D, aside from some great plays and turnovers, still had some head scratchy let downs at key moments. The D rarely has a hole but damn when it does, it's gigantic.

I am worried about bradberry and co. 33 and 25 have good and bad moments as well.

Tolbert got knocked back on his ass from a lesser dood to my amazement just short of a 3rd and short. He had a bad SB and not so great last night either. I'm so used to him not fucking up and being the bull that I'm surprised when he does fumble, miss a block or get waxed by one dood.

Cam was sacked three times. We ran the ball 32 times for 157 yards. We had zero runs-for-loss. That's three plays for a loss in total that we gave up. Usually I'm OK with that number. The only disappointing aspect is that we NEVER tried to take a shot with Ginn. That's ridiculous. There were some chances in the 3rd quarter to put that game away and we just sort of tucked our dick between our legs. It reminded me way too much of the pre-Riverboat days.

Defensive line was pretty non existent.
Not sure Kawan Short did anything of note. DEs generate almost no pressure.
