Cam taking down banner

I kind of didn't like the way they were focusing on the crying family members. I felt like they were being exploited. I guess my pessimist personality is coming out.

 

I've seen all kinds of comments like "Cam was being disrespectful to the military family" and "Cam needs to grow up" and "Cam stole the man's man cave expensive banner", etc. Then you've got the usual teacher-type pussies crying; 'poor sportsmanship!.' Like cam even knew the dude was a vet.

C'mon, does anybody really believe they can have a banner hanging on the lower ring of a stadium for an opposing team? I don't give a rats ass what it costs.

I've scoured over pics of games at other stadiums and haven't seen any just hanging. Folks hold up signs and such, but not a banner hanging on the lower ring.

If the dude wanted to hold it, so be it. But if you're gonna place it where somebody on the field can yank it off, then fuck you if you don't like it. It is not theft.

After the banner shit from last game, I'm surprised, given the banner brew ha last week, they allowed any in.

It's just stupidity. It's only an issue when you're 8-0 and 'shouldn't be there.'

I'm damn glad he did it, regardless of the fall out. "Oh, well Bray wouldn't have done it!" Maybe not, he'd have had somebody else do it and do it in an asshole way, my bet.

I hope the stadium hangs a dang banner sayin': "if you have another teams banner, we'll kick your ass and tear it down."

I totally disrespect anyone who knowingly sells their tickets to an opposing team, no matter how much they make of of them. They should confiscate your PSL(s).

Why? Can't afford 49er tix because of PSL's. Raider tix were available and affordable. Typically, I early I earn about $1000 per year by reselling them on NFL Tix Exchange. I attend one or two games per year and sell the remainder. I am not a Raider fan per se, I still pull for them as a California football enthusiast.

Is there something wrong with making a buck? Doesn't this contradict your conservative side by merely suppressing the free exercise of capitalism without superfluous regulations?

Holy hell I can't believe you just posted that. I am seriously thinking about doing the same thing in another NFL city or perhaps even baseball and hockey.

 

I wish I could know who I sold my ticket to but as I've missed 4 games in 21 years I think the right fan sat in my seats

Making money on tix no matter what and then calling yourself a real home-town fan is kinda stupid, which was my faux outraged point about the PSL confiscation.

If you just want to use capitalism by making money on tix, that's fine with me. I have many friends who own companies with multiple PSLs who give and sell tons of tix. But they admit they really are not true fans anyway. That's one reason BOA stadium is not hostile really as a home place like, say Seattle or GB.

Just don't complain when your home team gets inundated with tards whining about their banners getting torn down by the home team's QBs when especially they are doping well.

Simply 'pulling for' a team is not really being a home-town fan, imo. Those are two different things.

My disrespect meaning was directed towards a so-called fan who would do that. And not anybody in particular.

 

LeSean McCoy did the same thing to a Redskin fan two years ago. Ripped a skins flag out of his hands as he draped it over the railing.

People hate Cam, and I get that. And I suppose that's why it got so much publicity compared to what Shady did two years ago. But I'm glad Cam did what he did. He's done more to engage the fans in BofA than anyone in franchise history. Visiting team fans can pay for tickets and come see the game. But don't act like its your home stadium.
