Panthers vs Colts Running Commentary

QB shit show on both sides, but an excellent contest nonetheless.

 

I like that Indy came back. I like that Luck was marching and gaining confidence. I like that Indy and especially Luck were thinking not only could they win this game but they WERE going to win. But I LOVE that they had to come to the brutal realization that no, not even their most heroic efforts can win. And I REALLY LOVE that Andrew Luck walked off the field knowing that he lost the game.

 

That was one ugly game. Regardless 7-0.

 

The game showed me that Indy can be good if they don't make mistakes so much (mistakes are the difference between winning and losing almost always and why the Pats win so much). It also showed me we can be bad at times and that will cost games against good teams that don't make mistakes.

It showed me our pass rush is not great and zone D is not good.

Ginn does not like to get hit or mix it up to break up passes when he needs to keep an int from happening and he needs to learn to consistently catch the damn ball.

Was Funches on the field other than one play?

The Oline played well despite injuries and having backups.

Sometimes its better to be lucky than good.

If GB had of not gotten ass raped by Denver, possibly showing us how to do it, I'd have picked them all day long next Sunday. Now I have no idea. I'm not confident, but I will say pulling wins out of our asses does build confidence.

I was gonna get real pissed had we let that game get away.

We have been very good in the 4th qtr this year, but last night we were terrible.

Now that I'm awake, dry and warm couple if thoughts.
Our defense is pretty fucking good. Wish we hot more from our defensive ends but the linebackers are getting great pressure as well as short and star. Peanut Tillman has been Great and hot away with contact or interference last night. The secondary is really surprised me.
For all Cams inconsistentses he makes plays with his legs. Our wr are fucking maddening. Ted Ginn is the luckiest man alive with the drop. Had they lost the game Ginn would have been the scape goat.
