    They will probably make the playoffs. Carr looks pretty good.

    Perhaps, but there won't be a 7-8-1 team winning that conference. KC is doing better of late, Oakland seems solid, Denver is Denver, the Bolts eat ass, and so do you.

    Actually a 7-9 team might get an AFC wildcard now that Bell and Fitzpatrick are hurt, and 7-9 or worse will very likely win the AFC south. That conference is awful aside from the undefeated.

    Also that 7-8-1 team beat one of your rivals in the playoffs.

    Lots of people bitching about losing records earning a playoff berth, and the owners want to expand the playoffs.

    People like to complain.

    Deep down, I think everyone realizes we're not the end of evolution, but just a link in the chain. That's why people are naturally malcontents even when things are great. We live with the knowledge that it will all be rendered obsolete one day. There's not going to be a Super Bowl in the year 5000. Theres going to be something much better, which is beyond our capability of creating. We know this subconscious and it drives us insane.

    Ultimately, we're all cuckolds, bound by our own frail limitations. Like flies on fly paper.
