    •The Panthers have cut tight end Mike McNeill, according to Adam Caplan of ESPN (Twitter link). McNeill, who turned 27 earlier this month, signed a futures deal with Carolina in January. He’s also spent time on the rosters of the Colts and Rams.

    I don`t understand. Why even post this?
    Never heard of the guy, didn`t know he was even on the team, don`t care anything about who or where he goes.
    At least with the Borland story I could relate to someone I`ve actually seen on the field and be decent when playing.

    Honestly, the second thought I had after reading this news was maybe I should stop laughing at the 49ers and hope that Kuechly doesn't do the same thing in a year or two.

    The 49ers still have a talented roster, but I don't think they can recover from this amount of off season drama.

    The 49ers play in the toughest division in football. That said, I have a case of beer bet ($25 maximum) that the 49ers finish with a better record than Carolina in spite of that bitch ass conference they play in. First two to respond get the bet.
