    They've also been shitty on special teams. They're pretty much the inverse of what they were under Lovie Smith.

    It also underscores Rivera's buffoonery as an evaluator of offense. Cam has played well under the circumstances. Calling out the shitty offensive line would be more appropriate, but that would imply failure on Gettleman's end and Ron wouldn't do that to his boss.

    I don't want this season to go sideways, but if it did, the one positive is that Gettleman's fat ass would be squarely on the hotseat. Richardson might be greedy and cheap, but if there's an Achilles heel to him it's that he CANNOT STAND to be embarrassed. We saw it when he gave the finger to Fox after the playoff blowout and when he canned his GM/BFF in the middle of a season.

    Cutler hasn't been sacked a whole lot for how often they've thrown the ball. I guess one of the encouraging things is that Chicago doesn't have a very explosive offense right now. Hopefully Marshall doesn't play because I think our defense can contain Jeffery.
