Kuechly is a very good linebacker and I'm happy to have him on the team, but I wish stuff like this would cool the hysterical media love where he's supposedly one of the best defenders in the league. He isn't.

I'm happy to have him too.....it was a very bad night for all of the d...Klein actually outplayed TD (though not by much), who was consistently blocked in the wash

Um, yes he is. ONE OF THE best, yes. He's one of them.

All the backers had terrible nights last night.

Collin is drunk. You are honestly going to say he is not one of the best defenders in the game? One of. Not the best, but one of.

OL and DL were owned all night long it seemed. Double teams, execution, whatever you want to call it. Having Hardy wouldn't have made an ounce of difference.

Twice now we've been gashed for massive yardage with the opponent pinned deep. #2 defense is slipping bigtime.

Is it only me or has CJ been MIA this season?

I do not believe that Luke Kuechly is one of the best 10 defenders in the NFL, no. He is a top five middle linebacker, but only because of the injuries to NaVorro Bowman, Derrick Johnson (phenomenal in coverage), and now Stephen Tulloch. Patrick Willis is ridiculous, and I would put Bobby Wagner over Kuechly as well. Luke seems to be improving in coverage, which is awesome to see, but he's still below average there and not the elite run stopping force the media makes him out to be. It's ok to admit that Kuechly is a very good linebacker but not yet an elite one.

He wasn't drunk. This shit's been going on for years. Don't be shocked.
