I like Houston to rebound. I'm not sure about O'Brien as an NFL HC, he may end up being another Norv, but most of what derailed them last year was QB. Even if they don't draft one I actually consider Fitzpatrick a big upgrade over Schaub.

Their offensive skill talent is getting pretty old. Kubiak screwed up their window. It's really embarrassing in retrospect that they didn't accomplish anything given a good defense, a top five WR, a top five RB, a top 10 QB, and a good offensive line.

Both are a little lazy (Pep and Clown) but the Kearse comparison seems right on.

No, they aren't. In fact, Clowney is perfect evidence of how Peppers was never lazy like people who didn't know any better kept claiming. When the play goes away from Clowney or gets by him, he jogs after it. When the play went away from Peppers or got by him, he would run full out, which is why he occasionally was responsible for tackles 30+ yards downfield.

But Peppers smiled on the sidelines when we were down by 10 once.

Peppers completely phoned in the 2007 season. 2.5 sacks, less tackles than any year other than his rookie year.
If he's not lazy, he sure is bi-polar.
unless he had a hidden broken leg, no excuse for someone of his skill level to produce so little.

How many times do I have to repeat myself about one down season not being uncommon for top pass rushers? Michael Strahan had 5.5 sacks while playing all sixteen games in '99, Kevin Greene had 3 sacks while playing all sixteen in '91, Jason Taylor had 2.5 while playing in fifteen games during '99, John Abraham had 5.5 while playing all sixteen in '09, Simeon Rice had 5.0 while playing all sixteen in '97, etc. Julius is currently 17th all-time in sacks, and should probably finish around 5th-7th by the end of his career.
