    There is a positive in all this even for those who think Gettleman has screwed up. If he blew it, by the time we are out of cap hell, we should also have several years of high draft picks on the roster!! :ninja:

    I can't defend Gettleman. We have a QB that he's finally said is our franchise leader, and we're rotting everywhere around the offense, and not building around him.

    It's obscene. I fully expect Newton to get hurt this year, and make negotiations very tough for us next year, because why would he want to be around a team that doesn't provide him protection and weapons, when RG3 and Luck are being given an arsenal.

    We'll have to see how Collins does for TB but aside from Smitty, the stubbornness of not increasing the offer seems to be the worst move. I really don't feel as upset about not paying Ginn, Mitchell, Lafell, or NIcks as a lot of people. But the OL is a big deal and needs to be handled as such.

    I'm not freaking about DeCoud, he has some ability. But taking the casualties from other teams' position upgrades, especially division foes, is worrisome and legitimate fodder for cynical humor. Puts a LOT on the coaches.
